Jack Levin's ideas were quickly adopted on Crypto Twitter. Here are the clone projects that emerged from the XEN vision.
Following the principles of crypto — self-custody, transparency, permissionless — Jack Levin's ideas quickly gained momentum on Crypto Twitter. In March 2023 the price turned sharply upward with rising volumes. The community kept growing, and forks of the XEN project began to appear. Here are the different clone projects.
TitanX appeared late 2023, almost a year after XEN. It's a fork of XEN with important modifications — the founder added features from the old HEX project, including a locking mechanism similar to a bank Certificate of Deposit. Users lock coins for a duration: the longer they lock, the more ETH yield they earn. Unlike XEN (where users can unstake anytime without penalty), TitanX users are locked to earn yield and cannot sell.
This mysterious project is very similar to XEN but has little Crypto Twitter enthusiasm — a discreet community that earns it the "mysterious" label. Its slogan is "Mint. vibes. Repeat." Free-to-mint like XEN, deployed on ETH, AVAX, MATIC, BSC and FTM, but the token is the same across all chains — so minting on expensive chains makes little sense. Distribution is faster (all tokens in 2 years) and staking is higher at 35–50% APR. It highlights its AI-generated 10k PFP collection, Xexadons, deployed on major blockchains and BTC ordinals.
The Meter MEN project is a fork of XEN deployed on the Meter Network blockchain in early March 2023. Modified for more sustainable tokenomics, it is not free to mint — you pay 0.5 MTRG. Following the success of XEN on mainstream blockchains, it aimed to grow the Meter Network's adoption using the same first principles: self-custody, transparency, trust by consensus and permissionless exchange of value, as envisioned by Satoshi Nakamoto.
The value of any cryptocurrency can fluctuate significantly, and there is a risk of loss when you invest in it. Do your own research and carefully consider your risk tolerance before buying XEN or any other cryptocurrency.
